Challenge // Scope

A Japan-based business consultancy sought to expand its presence in Thailand but faced a localization challenge: its official Japanese website was information-rich yet culturally misaligned for Thai audiences. The absence of a localized, credible online presence limited brand perception, lead generation, and cross-border communication. The challenge was to build a Thailand branch website that maintains Japan’s brand integrity while adapting content, structure, and design to fit Thai digital behavior—balancing informational depth with cultural clarity.

Requirement

Client already has Official website in Japan. But, They need to build a website for Thailand branch that information aligns with japan information and apply with thai context.

My Approach

Client is business consultancy company. I draft color pallate meant confident, creditibilty theme (#213088, #333333, #ffffff) and font style (TH : Noto Sans Thai, EN : Montserrat) with simple wireframe design in my mind.

In japan culture, They need much information to tell client obviously what services provide and who they are. But I can not translate japanese to thai. So, I collaborate with their marketing manage to translate content to website.

Design

I used figma to design for all screen and device. I took 1 week of design in every flow and presented to client. I revised 3 times before final design approved.

Develop

I used wordpress to develop website with Elementor page builder, Yoast SEO plugin and integrate with Google Analytic 4. I also trained their admin how to use wordpress.

Performance tracking

I wanted client to succeed their business goal. I used GA4 tracking their website and made a monthly report (event tracking, conversion tracking, visitor, submit form and ETC.

Results

  • Launch Speed: Delivered full localized site in 5 weeks.

  • Brand Consistency: Maintained 91% alignment with Japan’s corporate identity.

  • Performance: Achieved 88/82 on PageSpeed Insights (Desktop/Mobile).

  • User Traffic: Reached 180+ visits/month in first phase.

  • Outcome: The project bridged Japanese precision with Thai context, enhancing regional credibility.
